Anyone that’s been on Google today has seen this logo:

Wonder why it’s up there? Today is the 118th birthday of Albert Szent-Györgyi, who is credited with discovering Vitamin C.

Vitamin C is commonly associated with citrus fruits, like oranges and lemons, because they were among the first sources readily available to surgeons on shipping vessels in the late 1700′s. While oranges are excellent sources of Vitamin C, containing about 50mg/100g, they pale in comparison to the wild potato which contains 3,100mg/100g of Vitamin C! For a great list of items and their Vitamin C content Click Here!

Thanks to Google for recognizing the works of Mr. Szent-Györgyi & Micah Warren from Large Media for the heads up!
